Posh come back for Jalal
|
Shwan Jalal |
Peterborough have swooped to sign another highly-rated player from the Nationwide Conference by snapping up Woking goalkeeper Shwan Jalal.
Jalal, 23, began his career at Spurs and had a loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday earlier this season but has now joined the Posh on a two-and-a-half year deal.
The Baghdad-born stopper follows Aaron McLean and George Boyd in making a move to London Road from Conference clubs this month.
He told the club's official website: "I enjoyed my time at Woking and it has been a good season for me.
"This move is a great opportunity and one I am looking to take. The players that have been signed by the manager have impressed me.
"The chairman has big plans and I want to be a part of them. I can't wait to get started."
