Marvin Robinson |
Oxford prepare to entertain Nationwide South side Lewes in an FA Carlsberg Trophy replay on Tuesday night with Marvin Robinson available again.
The match at the Kassam Stadium will be the second attempt to play this first round replay following the 0-0 draw at the Dripping Pan on December 16th.
The original replay was postponed due to fog but weather forecasts have indicated much more positive conditions and the game should go ahead.
Robinson returns to first team contention for the U's after recovering from a knee injury and will challenge Rob Duffy and Yemi Odubade for a place up front.
New loan signings Georges Santos and Danny Rose are unavailable and Chris Willmott, Eddie Hutchinson, Phil Gilchrist and Steve Basham are all injured.
Jim Smith could opt to bring Chris Hargreaves and John Dempster back into the starting line up, while youngsters Josh Kennet and Andy Gunn are also in the squad.
Lewes will be without goalkeeper David Blackmore after he was recalled from his loan by West Ham, while the injured Aaron French and Jack Stern are also unavailable.
New Rooks signing Chris Sharpling will not be allowed to play following his non-contract switch from Woking under the same rules that keeps out Oxford's Santos and Rose.
