Morecambe snap up Adams

Morecambe have strengthend their backline with the signing of former Huddersfield defender Danny Adams until the end of the season.

Shrimps boss Sammy McIlroy has managed to secure the services of the 30-year-old, who was without a club following his release by the League One side last month.

Adams is a left-sided player who knows McIlroy because he played under him at Stockport County, who he signed for from Macclesfield.

Adams could make his Conference debut in Saturday's clash at Forest Green as Morecambe's defensive resources are stretched by injury and suspension.
