Strong signing for Shaymen

Greg Strong |
Nationwide Conference side Halifax Town have completed the capture of 31-year-old centre-half Greg Strong from Scottish side Dundee United.
The former Bolton and Wigan defender is waiting on international clearance, which will allow him to play on Saturday afternoon against Exeter City at the Shay.
Manager Chris Wilder will undoubtedly be a happy with the acquisition as he currently has all of his centre-halves on the treatment table.
Wilder was forced to play Ryan Toulson and Jake Wright out of position in Tuesday night's defeat at Kidderminster and will be hoping to hand the veteran his debut as soon as possible.
