Maamria re-joins Southport
|
Dino Maamria |
Nationwide Conference strugglers Southport have re-signed Rushden & Diamonds striker Dino Maamria on loan for the remainder of the season.
Maamria signed for the Diamonds in February this year and has made three starts and one substitute appearance, scoring one goal in the process.
However, following the sacking of Graham Westley and the appointment of Garry Hill, the veteran frontman has failed to featured in the squad.
And with Hill deciding that Maamria is not part of his long-term plans, the Club have agreed a loan deal with league rivals Southport.
The 33-year-old started his career with Doncaster and went on to sign for Southport on a free transfer in July, 2000.
He then went on to play for Leigh RMI, Stevenage and Southport (second spell) before joining Rushden at the beginning of this year.
