Tuesday night proved to be an interesting night for the top three in the Nationwide South as all three teams ended up drawing their fixtures.
Top-of-the-table Histon still have a substantial seven-point lead over Salisbury City after playing out a 1-1 draw at Priory Lane against an Eastbourne Borough side who are still in with a chance of reaching the play-offs.
Histon took a 16th minute lead when Allan Tait found the net only for John Kennedy to equalise for the Stutes nine minutes later.
Salisbury's dry spell continued as they failed to hit the net for the third time in a row - drawing 0-0 at home with struggling Hayes.
Salisbury had their chances to put the Missioners to the sword, but couldn't beat the impressive Kevin Davies in goal.
Third-placed Havant & Waterlooville had to settle for a 1-1 draw at The Warren against mid-table Yeading, whose new signing Marvin Morgan opened the scoring after 25 minutes only for Tom Jordan to level for the Hawks with eleven minutes remaining on the clock.
That draw and Braintree Town's 2-1 home win over fellow promotion hopefuls Welling United mean that the Iron are just two-points off Havant, with a game in hand.
A crowd of 692 saw Jamie Day put the visiting Wings in front after just seven minutes but Bertie Brayley managed to equalise seven minutes later and Eugene Ofori netted what proved to be the winning goal on 30 minutes.
Bedford Town's are all but relegated after a heavy 4-1 loss at the New Eyrie to Fisher Athletic.
Ryan Martin put Athletic into the lead on 34 minutes before Aaron Cavill equalised almost immediately.
Just before half time the hosts went 2-1 when Gavin Hoyte deflected a shot past the helpless Ian Brown.
The Eagles then proceeded to fall apart after half time and the visitors could have added more than the two goals they managed to score through Martin on 56 minutes and Gavin Tomlin two minutes later.
Relegation candidates Basingstoke Town lost out in their Hampshire derby at Camrose against Farnborough Town, who are now sitting pretty in mid-table.
Paul Harkness gave Boro a tenth minute lead and Liam Pestle made it 2-0 twelve minutes later.
Sutton United and Dorchester Town shared a goalless encounter at Gander Green Lane in a match which could have gone either way with both teams looking dangerous.
Bognor Regis Town and Newport County could not provide a winner as it ended in a 1-1 draw at Nyewood Lane.
Charlie Griffin grabbed the first goal of the game in the 71st minute only for Stuart Tuck to equalise for the Rocks two minutes before the final whistle.
