Pennock set for Potters
|
Adrian Pennock |
Welling United manager Adrian Pennock has revealed that he'll leave Park View Road at the end of the season to link up with Tony Pulis at Stoke City.
Pennock took up the reins at Welling in 2005 and will take charge for his last game this Saturday in the home match with Hayes.
The 36-year-old played under Stoke boss Tony Pulis at Bournemouth and Gillingham and will link up with the Potters to take charge of their under-18s team.
"I hope the fans understand why I am taking this role on. It was an opportunity that I couldn't turn down," Pullis told the Bexley Extra.
