Alexander linked with Shots

Keith Alexander |
Former Peterborough United boss Keith Alexander has been linked with the vacant manager's post at Nationwide Conference side Aldershot Town.
Alexander joins a list of possible candidates that include the likes of Graham Westley, Graham Rix and Frank Gray.
Shots boss Terry Brown stepped down last month for personal reasons and 50-year-old Alexander has refused to confirm or deny his interest this week.
However, he did reveal that he had applied for the job previously - only to see it go to Brown.
Alexander started his career with Lincoln City in August 1997 and left the club in May the next year with a record of 13 won, 22 lost and 13 drawn.
He then had a long break returning to Lincoln in May, 2002 and spent four years with them before joining Peterborough in May, 2005.
