Nuneaton wait on Curtis

Tom Curtis |
Blue Square North side Nuneaton Borough are expecting midfielder Tom Curtis to sign a new contract at Manor Park before the start of the season.
The 34-year-old is currently on a two-week holiday and he's expected to put pen-to-paper soon after verbally agreeing terms on a new deal.
"Tom has been away for several weeks doing his coaching badges but we had talks and he's more than happy with the offer I've made him and I'm delighted he will be staying at the club," manager Kevin Wilkin told the Coventry Telegraph.
"He really impressed, especially when he played alongside Noon but with Palmer also now in the mix we have three outstanding midfielders all with their own differing talents."
He continued: "Tom has that bit of class about him and is always buzzing around while Palmer is strong and determined with plenty of ability, as we found out to our cost last season when he was top class in our matches against Redditch.
"And with Noony making an excellent recovery from his double prolapsed disc operation back in April things are very much beginning to take shape."
