Gradi: Snaps up Morecambe defender |
David Kempson has impressed Crewe manager Dario Gradi enough on his trial with the League One club to be awarded with a one-year contract with the Alex.
Kempson featured along with two other trialists in a friendly win over Quorn FC on Tuesday night after linking up with the club at their pre-season training camp in Portugal.
Kempson is a 22-year-old defender and Crewe boss Gradi is confident he has made the right decision to keep him on board.
He told BBC Radio Stoke: "Kempson's done well in training and I think we can improve him."
