Brave Exeter humble Fulham

Grecians fans: Reason to shout |
Barclays Premership outfit Fulham were humbled in their first friendly of the season by Conference club Exeter City, who triumphed 1-0 over the Cottagers.
Exeter took a shock lead just after the half-hour mark when Fulham's offside trap failed and Lee Phillips kept his nerve to slot home for the home side.
Grecians keeper Martin Rice did his bit to deny the visitors and keep his side ahead when he tipped Papa Bouba Diop's header over the bar.
In other pre-season friendlies, Sunderland cruised to a 3-0 victory at Forest Green Rovers.
Liam Lawrence, Daryl Murphy and Dean Whitehead were on target for the Black Cats in a relatively comfortable game for the Championship side.
Grays Athletic lost to the same scoreline at home to Plymouth Argyle courtesy of a first-half hat-trick by Nick Chadwick.
