Mark Stimson, manager of Nationwide Conference side Stevenage Borough, has completed the signing of former Welling United striker Hector Mackie.

The 18-year old frontman has agreed terms on a two-year contract after impressing boss Stimson on trial recently.

A club spokesperson said "Mark is well known for giving young players an opportunity. Hector has pace, strength and determination and is keen to carve out a career as a professional footballer."

Meanwhile, Stevenage defender Matt Hocking has joined Conference South side Fisher Athletic after being released recently.
