Gravesend and Northfleet boss Liam Daish watched his side go down 3-1 to Folkestone Invicta in their first pre-season game.
And it was no surprise that he was far from happy with the performance.
Daish told BBC Radio Kent: "Each game we should be getting better and that is what pre-season is about.
"We're looking to get our game and timing together so that when the serious stuff starts we will be ready."
