Grays release Canham
Scott Canham

Frank Gray, manager of Nationwide Conference side Grays Athletic has decided to release experienced midfielder Scott Canham.

The 31-year-old joined Grays on a free transfer in July this year but has failed to make a single appearance, despite linking up with Gray from Farnborough Town.

Canham started his career with West Ham as a trainee and had loan spells with Brentford and Torquay before joining the Bees on a permanent deal for a fee of £ 25000.

He then joined Leyton Orient on a free transfer in the summer of 1998 and went out on loan to Chesam and Woking before eventually signing for the Cards on a free transfer in May, 2005.
