Ashford extend Hudson loan
|
Kirk Hudson |
Aldershot Town striker Kirk Hudson has had his loan spell at Ryman League side Ashford Town extended further after impressing at Short Lane.
The 20-year-old has been impressive for Ashford, scoring a number of vital goals which has prompted manager Mark Butler to extend his loan deal.
"I first saw Kirk play for the Shots in a friendly against Brighton and Hove Albion in pre season and liked the look of him," former Shots favourite Mark Butler told Aldeshot's official website.
"I didn't think there would be any chance of getting him on loan at the time. However I spoke to Terry Brown earlier in the season about another player and we discussed Kirk and Terry said he could go on loan.
"Despite the fact that we were strong in the forward department I wanted Kirk to add to the squad and he has certainly enhanced our side.
"He posseses a great attitude and has been a pleasure to be around. Although I know that he won't be here long term I am hoping that his development will improve during his time at Ashford and he will go back to Aldershot as a better player.
"Of course it is great being able to get a player on loan from the Shots and I hope that we will be able to forge further links in the future and if we can improve a player in his time at the club then that has to be positive for both parties."
