Hull recall keeper Aspden
Curtis Aspden

Championship side Hull City have recalled goalkeeper Curtis Aspden from his loan spell at Nationwide North strugglers Scarborough FC.

The Tigers have recalled the stopper following an injury to one of their other goalkeepers and he is expected to play in the reserve team fixture at home to Doncaster Rovers on Wednesday evening.

Aspden played in all twelve of Scarborough's Conference North fixtures and kept five clean sheets in the process.

Due to Aspden being cup-tied in this season's FA Cup, Mark Wilberforce played in his absence after joining from Leeds United.

He has been in excellent form between the sticks against Lancaster City and against Ossett Albion and Scarborough have received permission from the FA and from the Conference to play Wilberforce in any forthcoming fixture.
