Harriers swoop for Constable
|
Kiddeminster Harriers have clinched the loan signing of Walsall striker James Constable ahead of Saturday's game against Stevenage Borough.
The 22-year old comes into the squad as a replacement for the injured Dean Sturridge after signing an initial two-month contract.
Constable has made seven league and cup appearances for the Saddlers this season but has found his first-team chances limited of late.
The former Cirencester man rose to prominence through his performances for Southern League Premier Division side Chippenham, for whom he scored seven goals in as many starts last season before his move to Walsall.
The season prior saw him in similarly prolific form, with 13 goals in 12 starts for Town, and he made seven starts in League One for the Saddlers last term, scoring three goals, as well as two more in Cup competitions.
