Stafford boss stays upbeat
|
Phil Robinson |
Stafford Rangers suffered their fourth straight defeat against Exeter on Saturday, but manager Phil Robinson is still looking on the bright side.
"There are a lot of positive things we have taken from it. There is a lot of positivety in the dressing room," Robinson is quoted as saying.
"Everybody feels we are going in the right direction. There was a lot of commitment, a lot of passion and work rate out there which we are going to need to continue over the next few weeks.
"We feel that if we continue with in that vein and continue to be positive then we will start to pick up points. As a team we still feel we are strong and strong defensively.
"Teams don't really open us up and create too many chances but at the moment, errors are proving quite costly."
But despite the Rangers boss' assertions, Stafford have a goal difference of negative 15 and are in 19th position on the table.
