Clough not jumping for joy
Nigel Clough

Nigel Clough is remaining cautious despite another win on Tuesday night over Crawley taking his side to within nine points of leaders Oxford.

The Brewers have now registered five straight victories in the league, a winning streak which has seen them move up to third place on the Conference table.

But the 2-1 win over John Hollin's side at the Pirelli Stadium last night has not seen the Burton boss jumping for joy just yet.

"We won't put pressure on ourselves. We are just in the middle of a good run," Clough told BBC.

"It could end on Friday and we might go three defeats on the trot, but we are going to try and not let that happen.

"It's amazing when things go well, how hard we work and long may it continue."
