Edinburgh takes King's throne
Justin Edinburgh

Grays Athletic have given former Spurs defender Justin Edinburgh the manager's job following the shock resignation of Andy King.

King took up the managerial reins in November last year but has now decided to resign from the post for personal reasons.

"I was quite surprised when Andy called me last night with his resignation," Grays chairman Mick Woodward told the club's official website.

"He was bought in on a temporary basis to steady the club which he has done. I'd like to thank him for his efforts."

Edinburgh was recently appointed as King's assistant but he now becomes Grays' fourth new manager of the season.
