Droylsden retained a two-point lead at the top of the Nationwide North table after coming from two-goals down to draw at Hucknall on Tuesday.

Russell Cooke put the home side into the lead in the 31st minute and seven minutes later former Ipswich and Nottingham Forest star David Johnson, making his debut, smashed home the second.

Terry Fearns turned out to be the Bloods' hero once again, reducing the defeceit three minutes after half time and then grabbing the equaliser on 65 minutes.

Kettering Town return to second spot after winning 2-0 at Sandy Lane against Worksop Town.

John Dempster popped up with a brace in the 40th and 72nd minutes to win it for the away side.

It was goalless at the Manor Ground between Nuneaton Borough and play-off hopefuls Hyde United, who are fourth.

Scarborough picked up a useful point at the Impact Arena against Alfreton Town in a 1-1 draw, whose Matthew Glass equalised just three minutes from the end after Carl Cook had put the Seadogs into the lead after eleven minutes.
