York prepared to Gamble
Billy McEwan

Nationwide Conference side York City have increased their goalkeeping options with the signing of Nottingham Forest youngster Paddy Gamble.

The 18-year-old has linked up with manager Billy McEwan's squad in time for their Tuesday night kick-off against Stevenage Borough at Kit Kat Crescent.

The Minstermen were granted special dispensation by the Conference to sign the Nottingham-born stopper as they only have one other recognised goalkeeper.

Gamble has not yet featured for the League One side's first-team but has regularly appeared on their substitutes bench.
