Harris pleased with point

Dagenham and Redbridge assistant manager Terry Harris was happy with the point gained from Monday's draw with second-placed Oxford United.

The victory maintains the Daggers' 11-point lead over the U's, having played one match less, at the summit of the Nationwide Conference table.

Harris told BBC Radio Essex: "When you look at your watch and there are five minutes to go and you are 2-1 down you would have taken a point.

"I thought we showed immense character to come back. It was great credit to everybody concerned for digging in."

The point leaves the Daggers just three wins away from League Two football.
