Peterborough United have smashed the Nationwide Conference transfer record to land Stevenage Borough winger George Boyd.

The 21-year-old winger who oozes talent will sign a four and a half year deal with the club and it will cost Posh £260,000 for his services.

Director of Football Barry Fry told theposh.com: "George is extremely highly-rated and has been extremely sought after.

"We are delighted to secure his services and have beaten many clubs from higher divisions. He is an exciting prospect."
