Stevenage sign two more
Tony Thorpe

Nationwide Conference side Stevenage Borough have completed the capture of Colchester United striker Tony Thorpe and Cambridge City winger Craig Dobson.

Manager Mark Stimson has secured the services of the duo on two-year contracts after they impressed on trial recently.

32-year-old frontman Tony Thorpe started his career with Leicester City and has plied his trade for various clubs, including Fulham, Reading, QPR, Luton, Rotherham and Swindon.

He has made over 300 appearances in the past since 1992 and has scored 154 times in all competitions.

22-year-old Craig Dobson is a pacy right-winger and has joined Boro for a small four-figure fee.

Dobson won the Nike UK Free Skills competition five years ago and has played for Lewes, Cambridge City and also appeared briefly for Barnet.
