Cambridge United defender Michael Morrison has the chance of joining Chelsea after going on trial with the Premiership giants.

Morrison has had trials recently with Watford and Newcastle United.

But Cambridge boss Rob Newman will not be allowing anymore trials unless a deal has been struck should nothing come of the Chelsea trial.

"He's a Cambridge player and he appreciates that, so after this spell at Chelsea he'll concentrate on being here," Newman told his club's website.
