Stimson eyes trophy hat-trick
Mark Stimson

Stevenage manager Mark Stimson has the chance to achieve a third FA Trophy triumph in three years when Boro take on Kidderminster in the final.

"The final is not about me, it is about the players. I just tell them what to do, but they are the ones who go out and do it on the pitch," Stimson is quoted as saying.

"I am not concentrating on winning it for the third time in a row. I just want to win it for the club. It will be a great final against Kidderminster Harriers and I am sure both sets of players and fans are looking forward to it."

Stevenage went behind against Grays but scored two goals in extra time to cement their place in the final, which will be held at the new Wembley Stadium.

"I am delighted to make it to the final. It's a bit of a shame that this tie was not the final because I think that it would have made a great showpiece," he added on Non League Daily.

"We didn't play that well and we owe a great debt to our keeper Alan Julian because he made some important saves to keep us in the tie.

"We have been on a great run recently, only losing once in our last ten games, so if we can continue that, we will finish the season strongly - hopefully with some silverware."
