Droylsden sign Jagielka

Nationwide North club Droylsden have continued their preparations for the new season with the capture of Accrington Stanley defender Steve Jagielka.

Jagielka earned promotion to League Two with Chris Coleman's Accrington but has decided to stay in the Nationwide Conference with Droylsden.

He started his career with Stoke City and went on to play for Shrewsbury Town before eventually earning a move to Sheffield United in November 2003 - linking up with his brother Phil.

However, he was unable to break into the first-team squad and eventually decide to leave the Blades in favour of a move to Accrington.
