Marsh joins Southport staff
Paul Cook

Paul Cook, manager of Nationwide Conference side Southport FC, has revealed that former Liverpool midfielder Mike Marsh has joined the club's backroom staff.

Marsh played under boss Cook as a player at Southport between May, 2001 and June 2001 and has also featured for Liverpool, West Ham, Coventry, Galatasaray, Southend, Barrow, Kidderminster, Boston United and most recently for Accrington Stanley.

Meanwhile, Southport defender Earl Davis has left the club to join Hyde United F.C. for an undisclosed fee with Barrow winger James Olsen reportedly on his way to Haig Avenue.
