Nationwide Conference side Morecambe FC have been busy in the summer market with several players released and several more signing on.

Manager Sammy McIlroy has decided not to offer new deals to Jimmy Kelly, Michael Stringfellow and Stuart Barlow while winger Lee Dodgson has joined Fleetwood Town.

Morecambe Football Club will receive 25% of any future transfer fee that Fleetwood receive for the winger.

Scott Davies and John Hardiker have been offered new deals but have not made their decisions as yet while Darran Kempson is now a free agent and is free to discuss terms with other clubs.

Garry Thompson, Keiran Walmsley, Jim Bentley, Michael Howard and Garry Hunter have all signed new two-year deals with the club.

Chris Blackburn, Paul Lloyd, Shaun Gray, Ryan Robinson, Adriano Rigoglioso, Jonathan Smith, Jamie Davies and Ged Brannan have all signed one year contracts.

Thomas Pickersgill, Andy Langford and Michael West have earned full-time contracts after coming through the Morecambe youth system.

Meanwhile, boss McIlroy has secured the services of Craig Stanley from Hereford United and David McNiven from Scarborough, with both players signing two-year deals.
