Lambs trial for Muggleton

Mark Cooper, manager of Nationwide Conference side Tamworth FC, will be running the rule over veteran Carl Muggleton as he looks to add a goalkeeper to his squad.

The 37-year-old stopper started his career with Leicester City as an apprentice and has gone on to play for 15 different clubs.

The Leicester-born player was released by Chesterfield in April this year and is available on a free transfer.

Boss Cooper is looking for a new goalkeeper following Scott Bevan's switch to Kidderminster Harriers recently and Muggleton would be a great replacement.

Cooper will also be looking at the following triallist's in the upcoming pre-season games: Sean Bowles, Matthew Ghent, Richard Munday, Danny Douglas, Matthew Brown (ex Adders), Ezekeil Tomlinson ( ex Stockport & WBA), Shaun Ridgway, and Marcus Ebdon.
