Oxford loan for Rose
Jim Smith

Oxford United manager Jim Smith has completed the signing of Manchester United's reserve team Captain Danny Rose on a month's loan.

He joined initially on a months contract with a view to extend and will go straight into the squad to face Morecambe on Saturday.

In the 2005-6 season, Rose scored 8 times in 22 appearances for the Manchester Utd Under 18's and broke into the reserves side and earned himself the captains armband.

He has been described as a tough tackler and has the ability to get forward and score goals.
