Veteran Brighton defender Georges Santos has joined Nationwide Conference side Oxford United until the end of the season.
The Frenchman, 36, has been unable to secure a regular first-team spot in the Albion backline this term, with his last start coming against Yeovil back in October.
Seagulls assistant boss Dean White said: "Georges wants to play games, and at his age he needs to play.
"He's had a few injuries and found it difficult to get games with us, so this is an opportunity for him to go and play regular football."
The former QPR stalwart will go straight into Oxford's squad to face Morecambe on Saturday.
