Forest Green Rovers manager Jim Harvey has returned to former club Morecambe to clinch the signature of goalkeeper Ryan Robinson.

The 24-year-old has represented England in the Non League XI and has previously played for Blackburn and Southend.

Harvey moved quickly to secure the services of Robinson after being alerted to his availability.

Robinson trained with the Rovers squad on Friday morning and is expected to play some part in Saturday's game at Cambridge United.
