Collymore has Rangers option
Stan Collymore

Phil Robinson, manager of Nationwide Conference side Stafford Rangers, has said that he is willing to help Stan Collymore make a return to football.

The former Liverpool and Leicester striker has stated that he would like to make a return to Premiership football and be re-united with former boss Martin O'Neill at Aston Villa.

However, the 35-year-old former England international retired from football over five years ago and his lack of fitness will undoubtedly be a stumbling block in his bid to make a comeback.

"We would help Stan out in any way we could," Robinson said.
