Harriers make another loan
|
Craig Nelthorpe |
Kidderminster have completed the loan signing of left-winger Craig Nelthorpe from League One side Doncaster on a one-month loan deal.
Nelthorpe will go straight into the Harriers squad which prepares to host league-leaders Oxford in tonight's Nationwide Conference clash at Aggborough Stadium.
The highly-rated 19-year-old, who is a product of Doncaster's youth system, becomes Mark Yates' third loan signing in a week following the arrival of Crewe defender Paul Bignot and Plymouth striker Reuben Reid.
"I saw Craig play a couple of times last season and he's an exciting talent who likes to go past players, he'll be very useful for us for the month he's here," Yates told the club's official website.
"I'm grateful to Sean O' Driscoll and Richard O' Kelly for letting us take him on. Hopefully this will be a strong test for Craig to play senior football, and hopefully he'll be able to provide us with some good ammunition."
Nelthorpe impressed in the Rovers reserve team and earned his right to make two senior appearances for the senior side last season, three in total.
He also has the experience of a winter-long loan spell at Nationwide North side Hucknall Town last season, where he played seven games without scoring.
