Worksop suffer Duffy blow

Lincoln goalkeeper Ayden Duffy is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after breaking his leg while out on loan with Nationwide North side Worksop.

Duffy is spending a season-long loan at Worksop and required six minutes of treatment after an accidental collision in the 34th minute of Town's 2-1 defeat by Gainsborough Trinity.

X-rays later confirmed the 20-year-old had suffered a broken right tibia during the Conference North match and he is expected to be out for a number of weeks.

Medical staff have said Duffy's injury was a clean break and he will therefore not require pinning unless the bones fail to heal normally.
