Nationwide Conference side Halifax Town have clinched the services of Oldham Athletic defender Neal Trotman on an initial month's loan.

Manager Chris Wilder has signed the 20-year-old on a month's loan with view to extending his stay until the end of the season.

"Neal is a young lad who spent some time with us in pre-season," Wilder told Halifax Today.

"He went to Oldham, who are now going well in the league, and it will be good for him to come.

"I still believe we need some experience in the side, but that will be down to player availability."
