Hannigan signs for Alfreton
Gary Mills

Nationwide North side Alfreton Town have completed the capture of former Notts County defender Tommy Hannigan on a permanent deal.

The 19-year-old was released by the Magpies earlier this season and Alfreton boss Gary Mills was sufficiently impressed to offer him a deal until the end of the season.

"This was the last game of his loan spell but I've agreed a contract with him to the end of the season," Mills told the club's official website.

"He's growing stronger and stronger and his performances over the past two or three games have been excellent."
