Brown to unveil quartet
|
Terry Brown, manager of Nationwide Conference side Aldershot Town, is hoping to unveil four new summer signings this Sunday.
The Shots boss has refused to name any of his targets but Brentford striker Marcus Gayle has been strongly linked with the club recently.
He has however, revealed that one of his targets is someone who can play both up front and in defence - which makes the ex-Wimbledon player an obvious candidate.
"We are currently in talks with two centre halves, a centre midfielder and another striker - it is a very busy time for us," Brown told the Aldershot News and Mail.
"If everything goes well, we will be signing at least four players by Sunday but if it goes pear shaped we will be unveiling at least two. There's been a lot of activity over the past few days.
"I am delighted with the players I have got on board but I will feel a bit happier when I have some centre halves in the squad too. That is my focus at the moment."
