York boss angry over goal
|
Billy McEwan |
York boss Billy McEwan was fuming after Darryn Stamp had a late effort ruled out when the ball was adjudged to have gone out in their 0-0 draw at Grays.
"It was a legitimate goal, and I thought it was a penalty in the build-up to the corner," McEwan said.
"I don't know what he disallowed it for. He told the players it was over the line, but he has not said it to me."
He complained that the referee was intimidated by the home support in his decision making.
He continued: "The referee wasn't big enough to give the decision. If we'd been at home I think he'd have given it."
