Harry Dunn, manager of Nationwide North club Blyth Spartans, has completed the signing of top Arngrove Northern League striker Mattie Moffatt.
The 22-year-old has an impressive goalscoring record this season and Dunn believes that he is the right man to solve his goalscoring problem.
"Moffatt has scored a lot of goals at Northern League level and I am confident he can make the step up and continue to find the net," Dunn told icnewcastle.icnetwork.co.uk.
"It was a big win against Scarborough on Boxing Day which has kept us in contention, but we have been struggling to score goals for a while.
"Moffatt will increase our firepower and, with Anthony Peacock and Damon Mullen joining on loan from Darlington and Hartlepool, hopefully we will be able to kick on."
